It&#039;s conceivable that if a university were to downsize its collection of tangible reading materials, magazines and newspapers published from 1990 (or 1980) and on would be a sensible starting place; books, journals, and reference books published in the 21st century and on would only exist in electronic form.

The rare books collections, however, is commonly the pride &amp; joy and monetary value of many libraries. and are too fragile to be digitized (unless you&#039;re talking about posters where take several digital photos could suffice).  

I think by the time you graduate from college, your school (if it hasn&#039;t done so already) would mandate some kind of electronic submission of theses and term papers.</description>
